Alittle snow, a little wind and a couple of not-too-smart drivers

I was going to another town yesterday for an appointment about 15 miles away. We had about 8" of snow overnight and the roads were pretty sketchy.

There was no one ahead or behind me for @ 1/4 mile until I got close to town. Up ahead I saw a school bus that was turning and a couple cars behind it. The school bus turned left and the other 2 cars were still in the middle of the road. I slowed to a crawl.

When I came up on them, these 2 guys were out of their cars in the middle of the highway with their driver's doors left wide open and they were talking - exchanging info I would guess. This is normally a quite busy highway.

Could not believe it! Where the hell did they think they were? Parking lot at Wally World? I honked and waved for them to move - wasn't sure I could negotiate their doors without going off the pavement. And of course some guy was coming up behind faster than I cared for.

Ye gads!
