Wow, the rent is too damn high - couple pays $3,400/month for 500 sq ft apart. in NYC

Damn, in most places in the US, $3,400 monthly payment would be a mortage on a 3,000 sq ft home w/a 2-car garage...

I keep contemplating on moving to LA area, its expensive but no where as high as NYC!...

too high everywhere in NYC but this place has "amenities".

. . . which long ago gentrified and became one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in the city, and is somewhat infamous for its insane rental costs for living spaces that amount to little more than a walk-in closet!
