1. Not enough...

Mario's passing should prompt a lot of self-reflection on the part of all democrats.
Not to invade the usually lighter atmosphere of the lounge. But a lot of us are profoundly sad at Mario's passing, because it reminds us of how much we have changed since 1980, and not for the better. We can no longer speak about the poor, the destitute, the needy, and the gutter..our party hides behind the "protect and save the middle class" rhetoric. A lot of DU is now too young to fully appreciate what the passing of Ted Kennedy and Mario Cuomo means to a lot of us.
