Really cute. We had a Rottweiler and a grey Tabby years ago, and the Tabby would routinely sleep on the Rotties' head.

The dog is keeping his buddy warm and protecting him. The cat looks very comfy being with his buddy. Very cute picture.

nose just in case. One of my past kitties very effectively used the open claw slap across the nose to stop any aggressive dogs in their tracks.
