uh-oh...Jake's eyelid is swollen

His eye has been just a little teary for a couple days, but I didn't see anything different about it. Last night I thought I saw it look not quite right, but couldn't pinpoint it. This morning, just now, I noticed his upper eyelid looked whitish pink instead of black fur. Close inspection: his upper eyelid is a little swollen.

Sarge is right...one damn thing after another. And I am scheduled to work for 6 days straight starting on Sunday.

who had frequent eye issues. Thought I might have some eyewash with boric acid, but couldn't find any. I'll pick up tomorrow on my day off; I already have a quick shopping trip to do then.

It doesn't seem to be bothering him and the eye itself is clear. He and Luna roughhouse a lot -- maybe he did something when they were playing. Or running through underbrush...
