Throughout the past century, there are few people that publicly supported the legalization of marijuana more than the late Bob Marley. When you smoke the herb, it reveals you to yourself, the reggae legend famously said.
Marley may have passed away more than three decades ago, but his family wants his legacy and views to live on as more governments legalize recreational use of marijuana. To do so, theyve launched a consumer cannabis brand today with the help of a Seattle-based private equity firm.
MN logoMarley Natural is an international brand that in late 2015 will sell marijuana-related products everything from strains to vaporizers to lotions infused with Jamaican botanicals in places where regulations permit legal use of marijuana.

(39,343 posts)As it has happened with wines and some alcohols in the past, they are usually sub par products that rely solely on the name to sell the item.
They are counting on white guys in their 40's in their Tommy Bahama shirts to buy this because Marley is hip and a cool brand.

(7,661 posts)reminded me of my honeymoon in Jamaica. While being bused to the resort a young man came running next to the bus with a bud so large that it looked like he was carrying the Olympic torch. The bus driver stated over the loudspeaker that even though ganja is grown here and popular among the people of Jamaican it is still illegal.
