For what reason? Older stuff, newer stuff? Soul, disco, techno, the chicken dance, kicker?

But a suggestion is that you can't do it without YMCA!

You know, Motown, Prince, a little New Orleans Bounce (which frankly would kill some of us), some fun.

who believes all the really good music died sometime mid 1990s, my suggestions are going to be "oldies", but here goes...

"Into the Groove"...Madonna

"Party Train"...Gap Band

OK, a newer song, at least from this century: "This Is How We Do It"...Montell Jordan

"I Wanna Get With You"...Guy

"Love Train"...O'Jays

"Way Down Yonder in New Orleans"...Freddie Cannon

"Let The Music Play"...Shannon

Oh, I could go on and on, but I'll stop here...

At the moment I've got everything from Billie Holliday to "Get Low" though that last one might get me thrown out of the place.

I forgot the whole "Twist Stroll Watusi" idea. I've got some New Orleans Bounce music but I'm afraid given the age group I'd KILL somebody! LOL!

is from '95!

(And I agree with you that popular music started to go downhill after the mid-90s).

For some reason I thought it was newer than that...

anyway, it did manage to squeak by

It seems like the proportion of good/sucko has reversed since the 70s.

Back then it seemed to me that only 30% sucked. Now it seems like 70% sucks.

Look at the playlists of the following stations, maybe even listen to some of their channels:

soma fm - plenty of dance and trance choices there
Digitally Imported - more dance, club, trance and other similar genres. The genre of Goa is great for dance and chillout

And here's one I discovered the other day, that has all sorts of goodies. However, it may take a while to sift through the 100 channels offered
