Mine started with the fire alarm in my building going off just as I was about to get in the shower. I poked my head out the door into the hallway and smelled smoke. I pulled yesterday's clothes and went downstairs. My terrified felines would not come out from under the bed; and since the fire was not on our floor (turns out it was four floors down) and the fire trucks were already, I left them there. After about 45 minutes, we were allowed back inside. I took my delayed shower and went to my appointment at my school's career center. Turns out the program I want to get into is more competitive than I thought, and so is the program I had in mind as a Plan B; so now I need a plan C. And the weather around here has been just insane today. BTW, I had Chinese food for lunch and my fortune cookie said "Luck is coming your way." And how was your day?

1. Well, I didn't have the excitement that you had.

Got up, went to work, blah blah blah. Vet appointment, kitty is coming along wonderfully. He did what he always does when we go to the vet......he pooped in the carrier on the way home. Cleaned that out, had dinner alone, came to see what is up at DU.

Mundane.

2. I accidentally threw a lit cigarette down the trash chute on my way to work.

Fortunately the commotion was over when I got home.

3. Years ago,

Some idiot did that in the building I was living in at the time. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night.
