3. Flurries are beautiful until they stick. I remember permafrost, walking on crunchy ground.

I moved away in '69. The weather seems to have changed greatly since then.

I am just outside of Atlanta right now... though I figured you are further north... I hope to get up that way and do some hiking in the next week or so (in between work stuff)

...though being from Vermont, I love the snow!

rather then the humidity and sticky heat. I live in North Georgia now and we only get occasional snow and ice storms. Last winter was brutal though.

this last year. I was tired of getting cold and having chapped lips.

I have spent most of my life in hot, humid south Texas. I Hate the weather there. It didn't ever feel like Christmas except in 2004 (freakish record snowfall). It is almost always too warm to cook. Exercising in summer must usually be indoors, but mostly because of disease-carrying mosquitoes. To me, north GA is heaven.

Good thing I got my new all season's mounted yesterday. New brakes as well. I'm ready for whatever it can dish out!

It is just cold and windy here. My sister lives in Ellijay, so probably got some snow. I haven't talked with her yet today.

11. Hubby and kids went up to Ellijay. Yes, there's snow.
