Saw "The Imitation Game" last night. It was AWESOME!!!

I'll admit: I'm a Cumberbitch, which is why I made the effort to see it in a special advance screening, but I'm sooooo glad I did!

If you aren't familiar, it's a bio-pic about Alan Turing, the inventor of the computer and the breaker of the "Enigma" code the Germans were using in WW2.

It's a very tragic story of how one of the most important minds of the 20th century was destroyed by bigotry.

It also stars Mark Strong (another British actor I love) and Kiera Knightly as Turing's friend and brief fiancee.

I hope the movie will be successful in its wider release and remind people of Turing's legacy and the price we pay for bigotry in our society.

(And I hope Benedict Cumberbatch at least gets an Academy nomination for his heart-breaking performance).

4. For his personal life, for sure. But humanity is lucky he was there to help decode Enigma.

If you're part of an Oscar Pool, vote this one in. Also, "The Theory of Everything" about Stephen Hawking looks absolutely amazing!
