(66,440 posts)I was fascinated by the thought that Shakespeareans in England are actually performing his plays in a reconstruction of what they think 17th Century London and Warwickshire English sounded like.

Apparently they also try to recreate the costumes, lighting, etc. Too bad they can't also do the smell and rowdy crowds. It must have been hard to do Romeo and Juliet with people throwing cabbage peels at you.
