Induct Tony Orlando & Dawn Into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Not The Onion!!!

We the undersigned, respectfully urge you to induct Tony Orlando and Dawn into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

We believe this group's accomplishments and achievements through their music, to have been a true inspiration to the world. To date they continue to entertain all globally, and are True Treasures in the music and entertainment industry.

This group has influenced generations for over 44 years with their excellence in music, and entertainment!

Please give the 1970's pop/rock/r&b band "Tony Orlando and Dawn" strong consideration for induction into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

That said, I think he deserves honorable mention for popularizing a dance that allowed millions of rhythm-less white guys to get out on the dance floors once in awhile and for something other than a slow box step. Marriages were saved by this man.

You are wrong. Calendar Girl, Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen, Breaking up is Hard to Do - all had bass, piano and backbeat.

It is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - not the Rock Hall of Fame.
