That cat is a saint to put up with all that but there could be a breaking point where she bites or scratches the baby.

suggests that she understands the vulnerability of the baby. If she is a sentient creature, she could always seek higher ground.

You could tell by the way he was swatting his tail around. It's a shame the adults in the room didn't use that as a teaching moment on how to behave around animals, instead of worrying about making a damn YouTube video. Not all of them are as tolerant as that kitty. And, no telling how long it would've been before that kitty snapped and shredded the baby.

I would have thought the tail swatting around as something else.

Also, that cat is totally thinking, "There will be treats out of this. And if not, she will someday have favorite shoes into which I can deposit hairballs."

but that's beginning to look like cat abuse.

That has to be the best cat ever or that beautiful creature was high on nip.

at at least one point. I don't care HOW patient that cat is--this should NOT have been allowed.

To be gentler with the kitteh. She is old enough to start learning. If the parents don't teach her, the kitteh will -- and it won't be pretty.
