You Light up my Life by Debbie Boone. Yikes I remember this song was #1 on Casey Kasem's top 40 countdown for weeks and was considered the #1 song back in like 1977.

My Mom won a 45 with that on one side - I don't know what was on the other side, everybody in the family hated it worse than they hated Tammy. But it was the only thing Mom had ever won in a contest and she insisted on playing. It reeks of sappiness!
