since that's kind of my neck of the woods, but I'm not sure I want to know.

W. Haven is like NJ...nothing good ever comes from spending time in the NH suburbs.

As I was leaving I realized I was in the same location two months ago. On my way in, I saw a drop spot I delivered to in 2010. The job doesn't look anywhere near completion.

The nice part of my job is the trip home. I always wander back. It was lovely driving through Sandy Hook.

I went to college at UNH for two years. (Yes, the University of New Haven is in West Haven. ) Zuppardi's is one of the best old-school (a)pizzerias around. They even got a dairy to make cheese just for them after the original dairy they used closed! Savin Rock's miles of beach have New Haven's Lighthouse Point beat to hell. And don't forget West Haven High hockey.

edit: Lest we forget, WNHU broadcasts to the greater New Haven area from UNH.

I think of all of that, that side of WHaven, as metropolitan NH rather than New Haven suburbs.

I stand by "nothing good ever comes out of the NH suburbs." Way too many nights have ended up driving around the ass-ends of Hamden, North Haven, Milford, and Wallingford in the vast unending sprawl.

You'll be sorry if you don't.

It sorta took me back to my childhood memories of Cinnamon Toast and Saturday morning cartoons.

I rarely eat chips but yesterday ... I just had to buy 'em. The Roasted Garlic went very well with shredded Crispy Pork we had for supper.

You seem to be willing to eat new things for a cash bribe. Did you do that while you were attending college?

On a potato chip...meh. The bacon mac 'n' cheese one might has potential to be pretty good, but I'm guessing it has that fake bacon flavor to it, which would ruin it.

but they tasted like a serving of crunchy mac and cheese. I didn't like the Mango salsa, too fruity. Haven't seen the others yet.

I really want to know if they used real bacon or artificial bacon flavoring. I'm vegetarian but if they don't use natural bacon flavoring from meat, I might try them.

I love the taste of coffee and my favorite flavor of ice cream is Haagen Dazs "Coffee" but I can't imagine what Cappuccino chips might taste like. Do they have a milky taste in addition to the espresso flavor? If so, I don't think that's for me.

The very idea of such a snack is revolting in itself. I can't imagine how gross it would actually taste.
