So sad, he was only 63 but such a talented actor and comedian. I remember seeing him in that episode of Happy Days where Richie thought he had met an Alien (Mork). That was then spunoff into Mork & Mindy show which I watched faithfully for years.
He was a talented actor who could do both comedy and serious roles too. He will be greatly missed!
Oscar winner and comedian Robin Williams died this morning at 63. While his publicist wouldnt confirm that it was a suicide, they did issue this statement. Robin Williams passed away this morning. He has been battling severe depression of late. This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.

Tobin S.
(10,418 posts)is a biological problem and not necessarily related to one's situation in life. Maybe even most of the time. He has a new movie coming out soon and he had just signed on to do a sequel of Mrs. Doubtfire. This is probably a case where a his brain chemistry just took him down.

Bless his family in their time of loss.
Growing up I learned a lot from Robin and Gilda.
Now they are both gone.
