VLC is my favourite video player. It's nice and lightweight and plays almost anything.

VLC has the advantage of not requiring any separate codecs to be installed.
It works on lots of platforms too: http://www.videolan.org

not much of a video, but I can see a little. she said it was dark. she wasn't kidding, lol!
