Just found a bag of new clothes. They fit. I have no recollection of ever buying them. They

could be six years old. Ever found something you don't recall owning? Kinda of freaky because I have not shopped much for clothes in the past few years.

And asked me what's for dinner.

Then it hit me:

"Oh, THAT'S what this ring is about."

I hope he likes pork chops.

I sometimes find things in my closet that must have migrated there on their own. I wish some of them would migrate out of there now.

I have stopped buying clothing!

that I bought that shirt or that pair of shoes...I often don't recall what year I bought them but I do try to make regular donations of gently used clothing to charity. The bad stuff is donated to the recycle bin...

I was in the middle of a move, living with my parents after my lease was up but before my house was ready, and was taking my advanced finance class that term. On the first day I found out the text I needed was the same as for the intermediate class I took. Oh good! Then I remembered the text was in storage. The pod kind of storage. And there was no way to access it.

So I fucking bought the textbook. Again.

A few weeks later, my daughter's caregiver said to me, as I was leaving, "Oh! I keep forgetting to give you that textbook you lent me!"

Yes. It was THAT textbook. It wasn't in storage after all. I totally forgot I had lent it to her (she was also taking finance).

The kicker? We hardly used it for that class anyway. I didn't even really need to buy it.

I have had plenty of "Oh, what's in this box?" 2 years after a move and then I open it up to find things I forgot I had, LOL. Also a lot of, "Oh *THAT'S* where that thing has been!"

I don't think I've found things I didn't know I owned though. I would be really happy at present with a bag of clothes that fit me that I didn't know existed. (I desperately need new clothes as I re-join the workforce but have little money to buy any with right now). I'd look at it as a big bonus (especially because I hate clothes shopping, lol)! Enjoy your 'new' clothes!
