She was from Michigan, Detroit area (which is practically anywhere in Michigan and parts of Ohio), and "Don't Stop Believing" always occasioned a few minutes of respectful silence from everyone else as she rocked out. She was the one who pointed out that Detroit isn't really known as a hub of rail traffic, but the song still resonated in her soul and the soul of all Detroit sports fans.

Who, as you may recall, kicked some Detroit butt a couple of years ago.
Also, "south Detroit" would in fact be Windsor, Ont.
