It's coming back. NOOOOOOO!

Confession: When it was hot, I loved it too. I wore my share of squiggles and dots and slobbered over blocky furniture painted pepto-bismol pink and mint green with bold slashes of black. I got it. It was both homage and subversion of Art Deco with a bow to Pop Art. It was a middle-finger salute to all the horrid paisley-filigree/quasi-regal bullshit promoted by the likes of Nancy Reagan. Just the same, when it was over, it was over and I was glad to see it go away.

But now, there are rumblings and rumors that eye-searing colors and geometric atrocities are making a comeback and I am not pleased:
