BTDT.

Or a kid who falls asleep in the way home from a trip and then won't sleep once you get home. Or a kid that falls asleep a bit too early and is wide awake at 3 am.

BTDT with those too. Seriously, I know this is regarded as 'bad parenting' but tv shows saved my bacon with my oldest daughter so many times. She was the worst sleeper in the world until she was 4 years old. Half the time I thought I was going to DIE from sleep deprivation. Tv helped me to stay sane. I put her in front of the tv while I dozed on the couch so many times....

The same child is now 17 and 'feels sick' if she gets more than 5-6 hours/night. She didn't get it from me (I need 9-10 hours to feel rested).

He can stay up until all hours and be up bright and early the next day. Often when I get up he's watching Animal Planet or some such. He was about the worst sleeper of my four as a baby, too.

She was/is a light sleeper. We tried everything and just gave in to TV. Worked like a charm. She wouldn't even take naps at daycare.

Sprout, I think, is another "all toddler tv, all the time" network.

you wouldn't ask such a question. My son didn't sleep through the night until he was two.
I thought we were all going to die.

was that my roommate in college loved it. It's apparently amazing if you're high or tripping on E.

Not my bag, I wouldn't know.

You should watch this while high/drunk, or so I hear.
