Ah, go-go girls.

I'm mostly posting this video so I can post another link.

The show is "Hollywood a go-go" and the dancers are the Gazzarri Dancers. And they have their own website, with everything (mostly) you could ever want to know about the lovely ladies: http://www.gazzarridancers.com/

Now, that's nostalgia.

I miss the go-go girls of the 60s.

Here's a clip from the 60s show The Girl From U.N.C.L.E. featuring the San Francisco psychedelic group The Daily Flash and the ultra stupendous, beautiful, magnificent, sexy, incomparable April Dancer (played by one of the most beautiful ladies of the 60s, Stephanie Powers) who posed as a go-go girl in this episode. The name April Dancer was suggested by Ian Fleming who was the show's hired consultant. April Dancer used a cover as a dancer in her various international espionage adventures.

Synchronized dancing? Well, these girls are far from synchronized. But lots more fun to watch.

And Ronnie Bennett is a doll.

9. Be My Baby for my money is the greatest rock and roll record ever made

and the Ronettes were the greatest girl group. There used to be a high quality stereo version clip of Be My Baby on Youtube with cuts of various live performances of the Ronettes synced to it, each with go-go dancers in the background. I can't find it anymore.
