My dad got his grand-daughter's (my niece) chihuahua when she had to move across the country. That little dog (14 years old) was the most narcissistic dog I have ever seen. Of course, he adored my dad. Chihuahuas always attach themselves to one individual in the household but are willing to change those allegiances quickly if the members of the household change.
