I qualified it because cancer isn't a single disease. There are hundreds of different kinds. So when someone asks: "Why can't we find a cure for cancer?", they should really be asking: "Why can we finds cures for the hundreds of different kinds of cancers?"

If not that, then diabetes.

As to the question, when a band is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, should the band members or the Hall have final say in who is included as a member of the band?

I think there are a lot of variables. If there are personnel changes that date to the time period for which the band is being inducted, consideration should be made as to whether the departing band member quit or was fired.

Another possible variable, is the highly subjective notion of the degree to which that particular band member contributed to the band's overall sound.

21. essential lavender oil. not straight up, but cut in with another, gentler oil

(which is how it's sold anyway). The bottle I have right now is lavender/almond oil, but any of the lavender/something blends will do.

Essential lavender oil is antimicrobial and very soothing to the skin. Not to mention the heavenly fragrance.

I used it on Jake's ringworm, which the prescription stuff hadn't touched for 2 months. Continued the prescription stuff, but used the lavender oil in between. Left my dog vet all when the ringworm magically disappeared.

I also have used it to heal scratches (which is essentially the same thing as ringworm, i.e. a symbiotic fungal/bacterial infection) on my old horse, who was prone to both in his later years.
