It's so weird, like a game. Some people are so removed from reality. mackerel May 2014 #3

… it's decadent… Yes, and I'll also bet he/she donates golf clubs to the homeless…

In a country that has so devalued it's homeless mothers that they should make choices of leaving an infant in a car to make a job interview, we have this… Yes, the lucky few and the rest can go to hell.

It's that person's money, it's a little fun for the finders, and no, it will not stop poverty overnight. Why can't you see the good in this story?
If that person wants to give away his / her money a little at a time, I'm
guessing it's their prerogative. I would love to be able to afford to do this.

In normal economic times, it might even be newsworthy. But, if one really had the desire to give away money, I think it's haughty to think playing "Where's Waldo?" with is newsworthy. Why does a person give of themselves on behalf of others who have little? Is it to gain notoriety? Don't fool yourself by seeing this as anything more than a gimmick. It's nothing more.

Where's Waldo won't stop poverty overnight because the way to stop poverty is to address the things that promote poverty. Put your money or pool your money into something that stimulates jobs. Become a coalition for if you want to create "finders". This game is insulting.
