Oh well, not a bad day off.

My wife had taken our daughter for the day shopping and I had the run of the place. So I ran out for a bottle of rum and case of cokes.

3. Last month I drank the last of my Ron Del Barrilito from Puerto Rico

so I finished off a bottle of Bacardi 8. It's not bad and they sell it at the grocery store for $20. I ran out and got another bottle of it today. It's pretty decent for a daily drinker/mixer.

What's your fav?

Anybody flying to Puerto Rico from Jacksonville? I'll pay you to bring me back a case of Ron del Barrilito.

6. Ron Del Barrilito is a tiny processor in Bayamon, PR

He takes the regular Bacardi that is made on the island, adds something and ages it for a bit and turns around and sells it for 12$-15 a bottle on the island. I haven't seen it on the mainland. I used to have a connection that went back to San Juan ever year or so, but that is gone now and I havent been there in 3 years.

The stuff is so sweet it's like candy or a liqueur.

11. i fell down a staircase head first last friday, but i obtained remedies for it.

the majorities of the cuts and bruises are healed or healing.

it didn't stop me from playing guitar and bass today.. so Thursday has been great but late... it's actually Friday now...crap gotta work tomorrow!

Nearly 3 hours. I probably could use some rum. I'm still decompressing and still feeling disoriented.

14. My Thursday was great! I forgot how beautiful the drive off Hunter Mountain is when no one is around.

I escorted a wide load out that way yesterday.

The streams looked as if the ice age took over this winter. Dead trees everywhere.
Oh, and Hunter Mountain still has unmelted snow on the trails.

Well, I live in the Keys, and that would be our definition... IF it includes a few minutes of outdoor activity, which you did via the rum run.
