i just want to say thank you to all the wonderful duers i've met over the years, some of whom i count as close friends and some of whom, sadly, no longer post here. your love and support has meant the world to me and gotten me through some really, really tough times. i've had so much fun here in the lounge over the years. i am still afraid to do much more than lurk in gd most of the time, although i have learned a lot by just reading. and we're not as scary in c&b as some would have you believe


i'm going to leave you with one of my favorite songs. this is always how i feel when spring comes around.

first lunch party at cottage, for old friends so I cooked, but NO LEFTOVERS, so don't know what to have for dinner, and as I woke early to go to grocery, am tired AND hungry! That's NOT a good combination! Lucky for others that I'm home alone!!!

i use a pen jammed into my nostril, that's why i don't have many misspellings. my kindle has predictive text, which helps.
