The forsythias are starting to show a little yellow color in the bark, no buds yet.

6. Blooming forsythia! I inherited a plant from a sib and finally, after 9 yrs, it is blooming really

big and yellow.

I guess I finally figured out how to prune it and it is not waterlogged this spring. Happy spring!

7. cottonwoods leafed out a month ago

my apricot bloomed and leafed out simultaneously, pomegranate is leafing out and doors have been open most of the week. it was a little cool and windy yesterday but 70s in the day and low 40s at night - pretty nice weather here. I am sure by writing that it will either freeze or hit 100 in a few days. oh yeah April can be like that.

9. The cherry blossom trees just started to bloom today here in Korea

and it's in mid the 60's. Yesterday the weather was nasty, cloudy, and rainy.
