After 2 1/2 years of struggling I finally got a good job

I'm outside the US, so it had nothing to do with the job market there.

The types of jobs I was applying for are competitive and I've had some bad experiences and reacted to things in ways in the past which haven't helped. For most of that time I've been working on my doctorate and only working part-time teaching kids, but have wanted to get back to teaching at the university level. I had an interview last December and got word on (of all days) Christmas eve that I would be offered a position starting in March. One of the issues is even though I'm qualified I'd do poorly during the interview. The other issue is that universities would often require teaching demonstrations which make me nervous.

Today was our first payday and I was so excited to go to the bank and actually not be dead broke.
