I didn't realize how old it was until I watched the video and saw the 35 year old cars.

it was on in reruns during my lunch hour for a few years, and most of the staff at the funeral home would sit down to watch and discuss it.

Quincy treated Sam Fujiyama as a respected equal. Even as a little boy, brought up by socially progressive parents, that made a good impression on me.

Wish they had more shows like that now (how old am I? ). They have entire episodes on YouTube, watched Quincy recently, as well as Lou Grant (though my grandmother worried that Lou Grant might give me bad dreams... )and The Odd Couple... These shows have stood the test of time.

It's amazing how many familiar faces pop up on this show.

In the Heat of the Night was also excellent.

I'll have to check it out, since I used to work with CBS, and that was one of the shows I'd write about. I agree that it was a terrific show...

If you watch carefully you can watch the dead come to life in a later episode

They had loyalty to their actors, even if a complete disrespect for continuity
