I recently started reading it, even though I've known about it for a few years. Just finally got interested
Although I'm far from caught up, maybe halfway through right now, but I have to say, I literally laugh out loud often! It's hilarious, and a great adventure comic (combination of steampunk and mad scientist genres.) I highly recommend it!
Here's the first page, and while it is a bit slow at first, it gets better and better!

Here's a page from about where I'm at in reading it, from a story they put in as a form of break from telling the original adventure. It has some of the same characters, such as Agatha Heterodyne and Krosp the Cat Emperor, as well as some of the humor

{sigh} Did they ever get around to the sex and AD&D column? 't would have been a big help to us, you know. I didn't get laid until the first time I had sex, you know.

It's too bad you don't like Girl Genius, because I find it hilarious and well worth the time it's taking me to catch up to the present pages

His "coverage" of the 1976 Chicago Star Trek con is hilarious.
(I was there, and the stuff that Phil drew did happen!)

(29,414 posts)I don't think Phil was involved in that, but he'd have fit right in if he had
I see now that he did do a cover at about the time that war was going on in that particular publication; I just don't recall seeing any pages where he took part.
I'll look at your link in a bit, and thanks for posting it
