Something is still up with SCE's "puter" but hopefully it is on the mend! I will be filling in for hopefully only one more week.
This weeks LOL Cats is brought to you by the cold & Canada...
and I sure hope the bartender stops serving the arctic...
And in honor of my favorite group Public Transportation and Smart Growth...
And in this weeks world of Nope...
Still Nope...
And well... cause everything that happens in Florida happens in a crazy fashion... but still Nope.
Okay back to the funny!
And then some cute stuff!

Abyssinian
SharonAnn
(13,778 posts)I would not get another Bengal. She's way more wild than domesticated. Actually, the only domesticated part is the part that "yells" at me when her food bowl is low or empty. Very loud, very demanding, very undomesticated.
No cuddling, no attachment, not sweet, and Very independent.
Actually, I'd probably look for another home for her if I didn't think that the new owners would have a problem with her behavior. She'd actually be ideal on a farm or someplace with a lot of acreage. She will NOT stay in the house (except to sleep at night and to get food). She's a great mouser.
But, she is gorgeous.
Agschmid
(28,749 posts)But I mostly play with my current cat we don't do a lot of cuddling unless I am asleep and she decides to sleep on me.
Obviously it is a lot to think about and most likely I'll just end up with another shelter adoption, it is the right move!
Thank you for your thoughts about the Bengal!
3catwoman3
(24,032 posts)...thinking of ot this way - a new cat is a successor, never a replacement.
I have had many cats over the years, some for much shorter a time than it should have been. The only thing that eases the sorrow of losing one is finding someone else who needs to be cared for and cherished.

I have a red fox den in my very metropolitan small backyard. Am amazed at the destruction these little guys can do.
Yes, we know it is a red fox den. Night camera pics and infrared video confirm as do sightings by next door neighbors and footprints.
There are currently 3 catch and release traps set. And there have been traps set since November. First trapper gave up. The second one is still hanging in there
Thanks for filling in. I look forward to this every week.

(113,538 posts)another wonderful job--too many good ones to pick favourites, although "arctic go away", the polar bear rescuing the ship, and the tub full of kittehs were right there at the top. all of them were wonderful (don't know why people freaked about the polar bear close-up), especially the cute cuddles and squeeees. tough shoes to fill, indeed, but you did it admirably. we lolcat addicts NEED our fix!! hope your day is wonderful.

Having mistaken a raccoon for my cat,it tickled my funny bone!
In my defense, it was dark and I had been enjoying a glass of wine on my front porch, and my cat butters weighs 20 pounds. Not fat just a big cat. The look on the raccoons face as I leaned over my chair to pet him was priceless!
I needed a laugh on this icy morning!

Our 5th rescue cat likes to sleep in the smaller side of our kitchen sink, and seeing as he is a big muscular guy of 14 pounds, it is quite the cozy fit.
It is rather hard to believe that someone could really mistake a possum for a cat.
