(2,682 posts)I've been watching for posts about you -- I thought you were having knee surgery sometime this month? Any news for us?
CaliforniaPeggy
(149,726 posts)I will post about it later...
Thanks for asking...

(2,682 posts)hope everything works out for you. When I blew my knee out many years ago, the therapist said the most important part of therapy was to learn to walk without limping. He said limping is a habit picked up right after surgery. So, be sure to persevere.....
Best wishes.

(34,138 posts)Just kidding. I hope everything goes great.
The advice about limping is true. Limping throws off the entire body and makes other parts hurt. Even if it hurts to walk normally, do your best.
My physical therapist discharged me last week. He said PT is not going to help. Monday I have an appointment with the surgeon that worked on both my knees. I hope I can work things out to have surgery pretty soon.
I'll be sending good vibes your way for the immediate future!

I went out to dinner with my cousin and her friend years later, and after dinner the friend said, "Mind if I smoke?" so I said, "If you don't mind if I fart!"
I thought I was honoring my dear, dead father by using his "joke", but she took offense.
