It seems like it would scare the heck out of the birds, but the kitties would love it.

(13,447 posts)2. yeah, it supposedly has a one-way mirror on the back so you can put it on your window.
But that wouldn't work, as was pointed out on another site. If the light is inside the house, the birds would see YOU and you wouldn't be able to see the birds. So you have to take away the one-way mirror in order for you (and the cats) to see the birds, but of course the birds would still see you and so wouldn't actually nest there.

It is an interesting idea if it works.
