(3,510 posts)but always seem to have more cats than dogs. Love them both. Was excited about kitten bowl because kittens are usually hilarious to watch, but have to admit I only watched it for 15 minutes. Puppy bowl-more entertaining.

(3,908 posts)I prefer cats to dogs but I do like watching dogs especially puppies.
The kitten bowl needs some tightening up...more sports oriented hosts, the field should be more conducive to cat play maybe different levels, (maybe birds on the goalposts). Whoever planned it needed to make it unique, not a clone of Puppy Bowl.
That said, I have never seen a super bowl all the way through so I don't know if my vote counts. (I do try to catch the commercials one way or another.)

(5,170 posts)Kittehs are cuter! As the old saying goes: Puppies drool, kittehs rule!

(14,691 posts)besides the fact of different species acting differently - Puppy Bowl's now 10 years old and they've added to it over the years. They even featured Michelle Obama and the First Dogs. This was the first Kitten Bowl and hopefully will continue and be further developed.

(32,097 posts)Watching the Puppy Bowl, I feel like they're trying their hardest to find add every kind of schtick that they can to it--Kiss Cam, tailgaters, sky boxes, Lego Movie character interviews, penguins... They should've stopped with the hamsters in the blimp. It's getting to be a bit much. I wish they'd cut back on some of that stuff, and go back to showing more of the puppies, like they used to. It's just not as fun as it was in the beginning.
The Kitten Bowl was a lot of fun, but I thought it went a wee bit long. Should have kept it to 2 hours, like the Puppy Bowl, and have a half time show. Nonetheless, it was still quite enjoyable to watch. I loved the commentary (Neuter Dame University! LOL!). Way better than the Puppy Bowl's, IMO. I also like that it wasn't anywhere near as commercialized as the Puppy Bowl. Yeah, there was some shoving of various products down one's throat, but nowhere near the extent of the Animal Planet show. Twizzlers, anyone? Didn't think so. Too many commercials in the latter, too.

(115,900 posts)They use their paws more and tackle each other. Also, they climb the goal posts. (I wish human football players would do that. Kicking the ball is too easy.)
