(23,248 posts)1. yeah, this new one doesn't hardly cover my city.
StLou, DesMoines, Little Rock all get mentioned 3-4 times per hour, but Kansas City just barely gets a mention. And no option to get a local forecast for a particular zip code like WC had.
On the plus side, WeatherNation at least does weather, and not prospectors in Saskatchewan (not that I have anything against Saskatchewan, it's just that I want a G-D-ed weather forecast.)
NightWatcher
(39,343 posts)2. I use local news or the computer for weather news/radar...
I didnt even realize it went away. I'm not a fan of the replacement show

(53,475 posts)3. They dropped the Weather Channel? Didn't know they had it.
But I've only been a DTV customer for 17 years.

(13,893 posts)4. Don't miss it at all. I get good weather news
from Noah on line.

(130,974 posts)5. No, but don't get weather info on TV!

Now we have the exact crappy weather on two adjoining channels. I miss the feature where you could press the red button and get your local weather.

(43,853 posts)7. Mr. smokey's missing it a lot. He sent them a strongly worded e-mail last night, in fact.
He hates the replacement channel.
