I'm an absolute Sherlock Holmes nut. But I can't say I'm crazy about the show and Mr. Cumberbatch will never incarnate the great sleuth in my mind. I much prefer Brett, Rathbone, or Cushing in the role and somehow the 21st century setting will never offer the colorful element to the stories that I find in the Victorian era in which the original is immersed. But again I will watch because I love all things Sherlock Holmes (although I can't say I will ever want to watch an episode of Elementary again).

Saw the last episode before tonight's and I became hooked. Looking forward how he survives the fall. I now know why Moffat has been occasionally flat with Doctor Who, he's been pouring his talent into this.

I hadn't realized it was premiering tonight until I went to set the DVR - I was very pleasantly surprised!
