Anyone have any last-minute theories as to how Sherlock cheated death?

...we'll know tomorrow, of course...but I must admit, it's been on my mind these past few months. My theory is that the body that fell from the rooftop was actually Moriarty, not Sherlock. The key is the bike "accident" Watson had, running to "Sherlock's" corpse. That clearly was intentional, and I have no doubt, engineered by Holmes. Holmes was ahead of Moriarty all the way, and had this in mind from the start. The visit to the lady doctor...the "accident". The doctor got him some sort of way to identify Moriarty's corpse as "Holmes". The accident was designed to knock poor John for a loop, maybe give him a concussion, so he'd see what he thought he'd see, and was afraid he'd see. We see that incident thru Watson's eyes...the phone call, wherein Holmes "confesses" to being a fraud...Watson is keyed up to believe that Sherlock is going to commit suicide. And he "sees" a dead Sherlock Holmes. And remember--in the original, Conan Doyle Holmes-returns-from-the-dead story, "The Empty House", we see a dummy designed to fake out an enemy--Moran--into *thinking* it's Holmes. Faking out Watson into believing that Moriarty, dressed in Sherlock's clothes, is Holmes is keeping with the spirit of the original. Any other ideas?

I think the bike had something to do with it as did Molly. Moriarty did not notice Molly being Sherlock's friend, discounted her as Sherlock did not. I felt so sorry for John, to be manipulated so by his good friend.

Friend in Europe watched, said it is a great episode, but...

They give options but never explain for sure so we get to continue guessing. I think they are supposed to give more options in the third episode, but still don't say for sure. ARGH. Am so waiting for the dvd to come out so I can see what they say, and tomorrow at 10 pm will be on tv. YAY!

In my book, he is killed and buried by falling rocks at Devil's Gate, Putah Creek, California, on 18 April 1906. He had been searching for an elusive strain of disease resistant Caucasian honey bee rumored to live in the hills surrounding Montecello; bees that had escaped from Sutter's men while transporting the rotting skeps from Fort Ross to Sutter's Fort.

Also I'm sure Mycroft was in on the fix. He had the power to arrange it "He is the British government". Plus he got Sherlock into this mess; he probably felt the need to help get him out. Who knows, he may have masterminded the whole thing.
