Luther Allison - It Hurts Me Too (Live, 1997)

One of the Blues giants. This was one of his last performances as he died in August of '97 while on this tour. His legacy lives on though through his son and former band member Bernard. Check his stuff out in the clip below.

I saw him at Oberlin College in the late '60s. He was fantastic. Probably one of the first five concerts I ever saw.

Luther got three encores. He ended up turning me onto R&B with those encores, as he played very funked-out versions of "Knock on Wood" and Johnnie Taylor's "Who's Making Love".
