OLD COMPUTER MONITORS!
yep - put a folded towel on top of one of them old monster monitors for comfort and to dissipate the heat, put your feet right on top of it!
The tilt, and rotate functions are a plus!
I ain't NEVER gonna throw my old monitors out - my feet are gettin' older, and the older they get, the warmer they wanna be.
One quit on me after 3 years usage as a foot warmer/footrest.
No biggee - got a few more, and if need be ya can snag one out of someone's garbage, or buy em cheap at a pawnshop goodwill/thrift store for about 5 bucks.
Most use less than 100 watts, even if they say a lot more because the rating is for when they are in display mode hooked up to a computer.
All ya need for happy feet is an old monitor and a towel (they get warm enough to be uncomfortable without the towel, but won't burn the towel).

(30,947 posts)My Chihuahua is in the living room in front of another space heater. She is wondering why we are not going out for a walk. But the temperature is 36 degrees and too cold for her even with a sweater on. I am quite comfortable. I have a heavy fleece shirt on with a fleece jacket over it. Fortunately, I live in a mobile home and it stays fairly warm with only space heaters. I am in North Georgia and by Tuesday it is going to hit a low of 13 degrees and a high of 29.
I really do not mind the cold as long as I can stay warm inside. I lived in South Florida most of my life until I moved to the Atlanta area in 1989. I prefer the cold to the stifling heat and humidity in Florida.
