Orton didn't fail us - he tossed an Interception in the 4th quarter. I guess that is what we can expect from Cowboy Quarterbacks!!

(13,324 posts)Considering Rodgers had a great game today (albeit with 2 INT's) in a comeback win, I'm worried...

(2,952 posts)...their wins were over weak teams as were their losses....I recall a few blowout losses this season to AFC teams as well. 4 of their 6 losses were in Philly to boot, 2 of those against anemic Dallas and the giants....New Orleans is going to mop the floor with them.....
That being said....an open comment to Jerry jones....fire your coach, get some offensive/defensive linemen and a secondary and for gawds sake stay in your f'n owners box where you f'n belong you carpet bagging Arkansas hillbilly douche!

When will JJ realize his meddling is ruining the franchise. HIRE A GODDAMN GM!
well, another year, another not care about the play-offs.
Imma root for Peyton as a big Eff You to the Colts who fired him and the Panthers just because my dad lived in Charlotte til he died and he loved Carolina so much.

(95,337 posts)doesn't help for morale on the team.

(12,132 posts)since he fired Tom Landry. But then he hired Jimmy Johnson and let Jimmy coach and we got 3 out 4 Superbowls (Switzer's win was with Jimmy's people - I coulda' won that one) so people let it go - for a while...
I'm just waiting for the word. Got my pitchfork and torch ready to go.

(95,337 posts)I respected the fact that it was time to replace Landry. But Landry had coached for so long with the Cowboys that I felt it was disrespectful the way Landry was fired by Jones. Jones could have found a title for Landry that kept him part of the organization but took away the day to day coaching. From that day forward I switched to the Eagles - I had also moved to the Philly area so it seemed a bit natural to become a fan.

(12,132 posts)He fired poorly.
I have been a fan since Roger Staubach was QB so I can't change even though I moved away but I understand. And I don't know a single Cowboys fan who is happy with Jerry Jones.
I'm kind of glad he's such an asshole because he looks so much like my step-father I'd have to hate him even if he gave puppies away at home games.

(25,816 posts)He played for the U of Az just last year. He's the real thing, a big, strong, tall QB. I'm a Bronco fan but love to follow ex Widcats.

(95,337 posts)Not a Ravens fan but will cheer them on because of UDel graduate Joey Flacco.
I mean think about this - University Delaware isn't even DivI in the NCAA (they are Div 1-A) and yet we've had TWO of our Quarterbacks go on to win Superbowls (Flacco and Rich Gannon).
Pretty good for a small state.
We love Nick Foles here - the guy had one hell of a season - look at these states shared at the Philly Inquirer:
