Fun in the Hospital...

Okay I was admitted on Friday.. I had gone there wanting to talk to someone and ended up being wheeled down to ER. They said I was dehydrated, (In Winter?) and lacking adequate nutrition. Okay, so I forgot to eat totally yesterday. I was given an ultra sound for my kidneys, put on an IV and ate lots of bland food. I did get to watch some TV..on a nifty little bed TV.

So.. Even though its winter, drink plenty of water. I have to tell you, I didn't have that much fun. The person next to me in the other bed was in terrible pain all night long having come off a knee surgery. The nurses were quite nice... and no...

I never got the famous MFM spongebath. (Sigh) but I did get the nifty socks with the rubber treads on them. Wearing them now. They are warm and comfy. My arms still sting from the IV and I got these cute little circular stickies all over my chest, where they monitored my hear.

about those little circular stickies. You come home festooned with these things and are still finding them in the bath three days later.

I don't think I can think of a more important health tip than to drink plenty of water. Hydration fights many ills.

Best wishes going forward!
