Ouch, that smarts! Second time I've done that this month, but I can't figure out how I'm doing it.

(6,011 posts)I can't figure out how the upper and lower teeth could bite there, unless you curl your tongue.
I have bitten the inside of my cheek, then it seems to swell a little and I bit it again. *OOOWWW*
When I had novocaine once the dentist warned me about that but it happened anyway because I wanted to eat something before the numbing effect wore off.

(6,530 posts)I can't explain how I did it, but it's the same as biting your cheek in that you get that swollen, painful place that you have to be careful of.
Ive done this dozens of times! I cant understand how my teeth can actually pinch the skin right back where my tongue is anchored in my mouth and yet I continually do this! 😳

(1 post)I would ask people if they ever had this happen to them, and everyone thought I was either crazy or trying to be funny. But I do this every once in a while, and it really hurts! Luckily it usually doesnt bleed, but I have had a couple get ulcerated. I cannot for the life of me figure out how its happening!!!!!
