I'm terribly sad to announce... UPDATE!!!!

Last edited Thu Dec 19, 2013, 10:38 PM - Edit history (1)

Our porch kitty is MIA

here is the back story.. http://www.democraticunderground.com/1018507234

He was becoming quite used to us, he knew when dinner time was and was waiting by the back door every morning for fresh water and food. One day I went out to clear the snow from around his house ( he very obviously didn't like getting his feet wet) He ran under the deck as he usually did when we went all the way out. Well we haven't seen him since. I am heart broken. It's been almost a week. I'm hoping he is just out doing what male kitty's do, or some other kind soul has taken him in.

The thing that upsets me the most is he really liked his home. When we had blustery or snowy days, he would stay there all day just sticking his head out occasionally. This is why I am so sad, I don't think he would have left it willingly.

Porch kitty just showed up, very hungry and scruffy looking, but alive and home! He was setting at the back door tonight, looking in the window when I got home
Thanks everyone for the kind and encouraging words!

The TNR cats in my neighborhood change up every once an a while. So far everyone makes it through the winters.

Hope so!

Our Mouse would disappear for days at a time--not a porch kitty and neutered--so
hopefully yours will return.
