If so, do you recommend heated windshield wipers?

(60,340 posts)Not sure how that would work as quickly as the wiper moves over the window.

(60,340 posts)I didn't think about that being so early in the winter season.
I am ready to move south already, WAY south.

(17,087 posts)At least that's the theory, I think. I'd wait and see what their durability is long term, before I shelled out 5 times the price of a normal set of blades.

(60,340 posts)The 3 point or multi-point blades leave streaks way to early in their life.
I am still looking for one that does not chatter on a windshield when it is not straight out raining. I have automatic wipers and sometimes it drives you nuts when there are a few drops and the wiper moves.

(2,829 posts)They don't cost that much more and while they are not perfect they are better than regular blades.
Winter blades have a rubber boot over the complete wiper assembly to prevent ice buildup. Sometimes I reuse them the next year.
