I really want to see the re-release of Star-Wars in 3D but I know I shouldn't

Please help me decide. I love Star Wars, even the shitty movies I still found something to love about them. But lately Lucas has been frustrating me but focusing on these old movies and not giving us something new (wasn't he suppose to do a 3rd trilogy that was to take place after the original 3 movies).

I so want to see it. I think the last fight in Episode 1 with Darth Maul is the best fight in all of the series but to see that fight I have to also sit thru bad acting from that kid that played Anakin and of course *gasp* Jar-Jar Binks (maybe Lucus cut out some of Jar-Jar's unneeded scenes)

Help me decide - you are my only hope!

4. I'm going to see it tomorrow on Alderaan Secundus

I'm going tomorrow to see it.

I've only seen the most recent three movies as they hit the theaters and was unimpressed at the time. But what with all the bad press they've gotten from fan boys and self-proclaimed movie critics, I decided to give them another chance... this time I'll judge them on their own merits alone.

Not too happy about 3-D, but it seems to be The Next Big Retro Thing Since Smellovision to hit the theaters again.I figure I can live with the glasses.

But I am kind of looking forward to seeing it alone-- without fans or friends going with me so that I can better judge the movie without the Soundtrack of Criticism being played next to me,
