Nest watch for Decorah Eagles.
The eagles have mated, and viewer numbers have spiked in anticipation of the egg laying. The birds are spending more time on the nest, and doing some last-minute renovations.
Last year I came in when the third egg hatched, so this year I hope to see the beginning of the new breeding cycle. I've been checking in since they started rebuilding the nest in September.
It's an awesome thing to see.

I watched a lot last year and really enjoyed it. Pretty scary when the chicks start flapping around in the nest!
