can you beat it.

You can use you zoom button to make the playing field larger.
To play game, start by changing the color of the top left cube.
On second game, looks like fun!
it's sort of a time killer but it is fun.

(68,644 posts)My first never cleared the board.
Did you get 19 first try????
I just got 19. I've been playing this awhile now.

(68,644 posts)Must play it more later.
I wonder what the best possible score is.
Of course every new game is a new arrangement, so maybe there is no such thing as "one" perfect score.
Thanks for posting it!

(12,325 posts)a strategy is to avoid playing one color till the end. My usual score is 24.

(68,644 posts)...which colors will, once selected, expose the greatest number of "new" colors to take out.
In other words, if there's only one or two green adjacent to the color in play, I'm not going to hit green.
And, if there are a lot of blues and a lot of yellows adjacent to the play area, but the yellows have bigger blocks or will expose more new tiles, I'll go for yellow.
Finally, toward the end, some colors need to wait and others are good to go; if a bunch of greens are ready to go except for one in a corner surrounded by others, maybe wait until all the remaining tiles are in play.

(53,475 posts)I had seven squares left.
Do you only get 25 turns?
Is 25 good or bad?

Did it twice, but I blame luck for these.
I can't get it any lower than that. It is hard.

(12,325 posts)By clicking on the buttons, the player changes the color of the case 1 (top left) and adjacent squares of the same color.
The goal is to flood the grid with a single color in a few shots.

Didn't get better than 25 yet... uh oh, this is gonna be a time-sink.

(8,217 posts)I've gotten 19 many times now, but I can't seem to break that barrier.
I must confess, that I play it about 20 times in a row, before heading off to do something else, every time I get back to my home computer.

(149,640 posts)One thing I do to increase my odds of winning is to choose a puzzle that has a lot of large chunky areas of one color or another. This will help enormously.
I also look for a double block in the lower right hand corner, since that's where I normally end up, and those single blocks can kill ya!
It's really fun.

(12,132 posts)both failed differently. In chrome all I see is the 6 dots in the upper left but no game board as shown in the screen caps above. In IE I see one of the color dots and a 2 color game board but I can't tell if anything is happening.
