Just stay at home. Not much of a vacation, except you don't have to go into the sh*thole where you work.

[cheated, found a list but I concur!]

At the end of the day.
It is what it is.
Whatever.
Grow a business.
You know.
What’s the good word?
Bring closure.
You know what?
Adding “wise” to the end of nouns (i.e., weatherwise)
No problem.
Back in the day.
That being said….
Welcome to my world.
The bottom line.
Awesome.
I’m o.k. with that.
Under the bus.
No brainer.
Think outside the box.
My bad
Quality time
It’s all good.

which, as far as I can tell, roughly translates to,"I am stating an opinion that is outright insulting, completely unsolicited, and/or utterly unrelated to the subject at hand, but I expect you not to be annoyed with me."

"Don't be like that!", a saying usually uttered after an entirely appropriate response to something a dumbass says.

For example, "Did you sleep last night? You look like shit. Just sayin'."

"Piss off."

"Hey, don't be like that!"

I guess that is supposed to soften the rest of the sentence.

"Can't strengthen the weak by weakening the strong."
"Personal Responsibility" (usually for thee, not for the one speaking)
"Should have planned ahead!"
"Hang in there."
"Everything happens for a reason."
"Life comes at you fast."
"Spread my work ethic, not my wealth." (usually spoken by someone who isn't even remotely wealthy)
"Shit _________ Say To _________ " (YouTube thing that's getting played out already) Oh, did I say something so microscopically offensive, yet it ticks you off anyway? WALK IT OFF. Life's too short for me to be traipsing on every goddamned societal eggshell.

because it was part of the plan, which you can't question, oh, and by the way, god is love.

Yeeeah, I'm not buyin' any of that, including the premise that there is an omnipotent god or a deity of any sort.

because they are total mischaracterizations & hypocritical: conservatives (ain't no such thing; the term should be changed to regressives) and pro-life (not so at all after the baby is born & throughout life).

41. The word "like" used between every three words in a sentence.
Thu Feb 9, 2012, 11:00 PM

Primarily done by the pre-teen, teen, 20-something crowd, and SO tiring. Hint: If I'm hiring, and the word "like" is the most common word you use, sprinkled throughout your responses, you will NOT get the job.

46. "Issues"
Fri Feb 10, 2012, 03:14 PM
Feb 2012

So-and-so has "issues".... I have an "issue" with that....etc.

Magazines have issues...people have problems.

"Job creators" - Upon hearing this phrase, I usually respond with, "Oh, yeah...the Other Creation Myth."

And one particular regionalism: "bless his heart"

People 'round these parts usually use this phrase at the tail end of an indictment of someone's character or personality, tossing it in at the end to (presumably) take some of the sting out.

"Well, now, he don't know any better....he's a liberal, bless his heart."

Or take it to the extreme: "Well, what can you say about him? He's one of those baby-raping socialist monsters who dine on the flesh of human fetuses and worship the Devil...bless his heart."
