Did the double rainbow guy get royalties for the movie "We're the Millers?"

At the beginning of the movie, "We're the Millers" they show clips of viral videos and the first one is double rainbow guy. Do you suppose he got royalties for that clip?

I know you can make money as a YouTube partner but I'm not sure you still retain your right to royalties and the like. I could be totally wrong but it wouldn't surprise me.
